Platform

Made to survive a real working week.

Poultry Pulse runs in the browser on a cloud database. There is nothing to install on the farm, and the same system works from an office desktop, a tablet in the plant and a phone in a truck.

Browser-based

No local installs, no per-machine setup. Staff sign in on whatever device they already carry, and the interface adapts to the screen.

Live between users

When someone saves, everyone else sees it. Two people editing the same record are told about the clash and shown both versions rather than one quietly winning.

Multi-site from the start

Farms, houses and plant locations are first-class. Switch site, or look at the whole business, without a separate installation per location.

Access control

People see the work they own.

Access is granted by role rather than by trust. Roles match the way a poultry business is actually staffed, and the actions that can't be undone are restricted to one of them.

  • Roles including plant manager, production manager, fleet manager, sales, marketing, general manager and managing director
  • Destructive operations reserved for a single super-administrator role, with a guard against self-elevation
  • Self-service password reset gated by a security question, so the office isn't unlocking accounts by phone
  • Notifications routed by module, so a role is alerted about its own work

Integrations

It fits around the systems you already pay for.

The point is to stop re-keying, so the connections that matter are to accounts, telematics and the channels your staff already read.

Accounting QuickBooks Desktop export in IIF format. Invoices and credit notes leave the system in a form the accounts package accepts, without a second round of typing.
Vehicle telematics Ontrac and Geotab GPS feeds, so live vehicle positions appear against the delivery runs rather than in a separate tracking portal.
WhatsApp Notifications delivered through the Meta Cloud API for staff who are not sitting at a screen.
Email & in-app The same alert can reach a person in the app, by email, or as an audible notification on the plant floor.
Labels & scanning QR codes generated per lot and read with the device camera — no dedicated scanner hardware required.

Getting it running

Deployment, data and the first month.

Your own database

Each business runs against its own cloud PostgreSQL database. Your production, customer and financial records are not sharing a table with anyone else's.

Hosted or your own account

We can host and maintain it, or deploy into a cloud account your business owns. Either way the data belongs to you and can be exported.

Trained by the software

A contextual help panel covers every module, and a step-by-step manual is built into the app — so the answer is in front of the person who needs it.

Questions

Before you book

A modern browser and an internet connection. There is nothing to install on individual machines, and the same login works from a desktop, tablet or phone.
Yes. Multi-farm and multi-site operation is part of the core, not an add-on. Users can be scoped to particular sites, and managers can view the whole business.
QuickBooks Desktop is supported directly through IIF export. If you use something else, bring it to the demo — we'll tell you honestly what the export would involve rather than guess on the call.
No. Ontrac and Geotab feeds are read into the fleet module, so you keep the hardware and the contract you already have and simply see the vehicles alongside the orders they are carrying.
Customers, products, sites and opening stock are normally imported before go-live. We look at the actual spreadsheets during the demo and scope the import from what is really there.
It depends on how many sites you run, which modules you start with, and the state of your current records. We would rather scope that against your operation than publish a number that turns out to be wrong for you.
Poultry Pulse is developed by Caribbean Identity, based in Barbados, and is in daily use in a working poultry business.
